Alexandria / Alex / Sissy WE GOT A GIRL!!! no one ever thought we'd have a girl after having 3 boys, they all thought it'd be another boy.

Well after having Paddy I got a IUD and then in August of 05 we desided since my hubby had a really good job and we were doing great that it was time to have my promised #4 when we first got together i wanted 6 kids he wanted none so we comprimised by making the deal of 1 boy and 1 girl or 4 kids which ever came first! now I'd always joked that i was going to hold out till the last one to have a girl so that i'd get my 4. and low and behold thats what happened! well when i had the iud removed in aug the doc and the nurse had a $25 bet going saying i'd be pg in about a month (says the doc) 3 (says the nurse) 12 months says I the doc laughed and told me he knew how fertile i was (same doc as all 3 boys) and that i didnt actually get to pick when i laughed and told him true but I know me. And wouldnt ya know come the 3rd of August 06 i concived! haha i won the bet and dont cha know i dint get my $25 lol. but the doc did promise me that he himself not the on call doc would deliver me hehe.

Pregnacy was a bit ruffer this time but still not that bad I was just tired alot and felt like I was going to throwup all the time thou I only did once. I ended up starting the preg at 176lbs losing down to 155lbs by the 5th month, but by the day I went into labor I was back to 176lbs! So a week after I had her I had actually lost about 20lbs. from my prepregnacy weight! If only it had A-took me down to where I want to be and B-stayed off. Sissy is now 5m and I'm right at 180lbs. any one know any good weight loss plans that take no time out of the day and are free?

I had the first contraction about 4pm the 18th. I didnt have another till about 5:15pm just before I started dinner for the boys. My husband had just got home from work and he stood at the bar and kept track of my contractions while i fixed chicken nuggets, frys and mac and cheese for the boys. while they ate I got their stuff ready to go stay with grandpa.  I took their bags across the yard to my parents house and came back to get all the pets fed and watered. (my husband is useless in times of high stress) He just continued to follow me around and time my contractions which were 2 min long and 1 minute apart! I called the doctor and the resident (who hadnt done a delivery yet) freaked and told me to call 911. about 6 the boys were done with there dinner and we walked them to my parents house (we live next door) my husband, my mom (she drove) and I loaded up in her car and headed to the hospital. we stoped and got gas on the way cause her car was almost on E. we got to the hospital about 7:15 the girl at the registration desk kept giving me funny looks cause i refused to sit down and ride in the stupid wheel chair. I walked to L&D and then we had to stand in the hall for 45min before they had a bed for me in treage. they pissed my mom off couse they said i could only have one of them in treage with me and shed have to go. so she stalked back to her car while i got undressed in a curtined off portion of the hall!! and got strapped up to the machine to monitor the contractions. after about an hour the doctor finally came in and said I was only 3.5cm and he didnt think i was in labor but I could walk for a while and see what happened. He called MY doctor while I was getting un hooked to go walk and boy did he get chewed on !! I walked for a while and came back he said I was almost 5 so they sent me down to a room they switched which room i was going to be in at the last minute and got me mixed up with a girl who was to have a c section. They got that sorted out and then the lab tech and the nurses freaked when I said I didnt even want a IV. one of them asked me this stupid question aire about pain and how bad the pain would have to be on a scale of one to ten for me to want drugs I said 15 (little did i know that not a month after giving birth i'd have pain rateing about 20 and no meds to help) anyway.... I dont think she belived me. My doctor came in and checked me and said i was almost 6 he broke my water and he hearded all the nurses but "mine" out into the NS and had "the talk". my husband asked the nurse if i could have my cd i had made for L&D and she said sure so he put it in and we all got a kick out of the nurses face when she heard some of the songs. (which was my whole point!) (if I as laughing at the nurses I wouldnt pay attention to any pain i may be in) my husband and my mom went down to get food they had skipped dinner, when they got back  it was about 12:30 or so. about 1:20 the doctor came back and said I was 8cm he sat down on the sofa with my mom (my mom worked in the ER, so they know each other) and they had small talk until I delivered. a few minutes into their conversation I saw the doctor nod at the head nurse and they raised the bed and the brase pads (little places for my feet(not surips)) then started geting the baby bed ready (taking their time) the dr pulled the delivery table over to the foot of the bed and was getting all the stuff layed out he was trying to unwrap the sissors to cut the cord and I grunted at him and he looked at me and jumped to the foot of the bed and caught Alex as she popped out in one held back push ( I was scared he wouldnt catch her so i didnt want to push till he got there. and then I had to hold it all in while he yelled at the nurses to get a blanket. and sucktion out Alex's nose and mouth, he nodded and she was born , he yelled again at the nurses to bring him a blanket! (they were still playing with the bed and didnt know we already had a baby. One more yell and the nurse finally brought the blanket over then had the nerve to ask where he wanted it he said vary anerly to put it on me, all the while he was holding the baby upsidedown working one handed to do everything by himself and he had to give the sissors still wrapped to "daddy" to cut the cord! my husband cut the cord and the dr layed her on my chest for ME to clean up while the nurses (all 5) scurryed to finish getting the baby bed ready!  To me it all felt like it took about 15min from first getting to the hospital to birth. 20 minutes later they took her to the nursery and I went out side to smoke a ciggy.

my mom and my hubby got home just in time to put one leg in bed and pull it back out before it was time to get the boys off to school. and call into work at 6am!!! What a good night!

I didnt sleep until about 6:30 am and then the phone rang and woke me up.

The next night at about 8 the nurse took the baby to the nursery and TOLD me to go to sleep I slept till about 3:30 and went for a cig and some snack foods and got Alex back. They came and got her about 7am and we started all the paper work to go home. by noon we were ready and they brought her back and we left and went got long john silver for lunch. and went home to show the baby to Granpa,(who was shamelessly pleased, but tryed very baddly to hide it).

Thus is how Alexandria Suesanna Born 1:43am 5lb5oz 17in long came into the world.

Ally cat is is very full of her self and onery as all get out. Shes gona be a lefty, and is the cutest thing ever big bright blue eyes and long curly red hair. with my itty feet. (she can still wear newborn socks!)

shes still a bit tooth less were a bit worried about that and her speech, all three boys had to speech therapy so thats nothing new. but still worrisome. she a very good big sissy too. we dont call her sissy any more since there are 2 sissys now. but shes grandmas new pet. shes almost mike all over again. sept my mom didnt raise her.
